IOP (Intraocular pressure)

This is a procedure to measure the pressure in the eyes. Sedation is not needed and can be completed quickly in clinic. The clinic staff will use a tonometer for this test. A thorough ophthalmic examination includes intraocular pressure (IOP) measurement, which aids in the diagnosis of glaucoma, uveitis (inflammation), and other eye diseases

Flea and Tick Prevention

Flea and Tick Prevention

Let's face it, we can barely escape those creepy, crawly, biting things; which means that your furry friend can't either. Although, there are many flea and tick prevention products available; we carry Effitix Plus for dogs and Frontline Plus for cats because they do the job right.

Effitix Plus for dogs kills and repels ticks, mosquitoes, and all life stages of fleas. It also repels biting flies and kills chewing lice. It's waterproof as well!

EffiPro Plus for cats kills fleas, flea eggs & larvae, ticks & chewing lice. It's fast acting, long lasting and waterproof.

We also have Credelio, for the clients or pets that prefer an oral tablet. This is also a once a month flea and tick preventative.

About the Rattlesnake Vaccine...

About the Rattlesnake Vaccine...

Did you know that there is a Rattlesnake Vaccine?

A rattlesnake bite is a veterinary emergency.

It results in serious injury or even death to thousands of dogs each year. Rattlesnake venom is a complex mixture of toxins that spreads through a dogs body following the bite. When injected into an unprotected dog, the toxins in snake venom are very painful and can have serious consequences.
